Sanibest Pro – 1 HP Grinder Pump System for Complete Bathroom Installations (Toilet Included)

The Sanibest Pro is a heavy-duty 1-horsepower grinder pump solution designed for installing a full bathroom up to 25 feet below the main sewer line or up to 150 feet horizontally from a soil stack. Ideal for uncontrolled environments, it is well-suited for both residential and commercial applications such as rental properties, office buildings, and warehouse spaces. Its robust grinder mechanism is built to handle sanitary items that may be flushed, including condoms, sanitary napkins, dental floss, and q-tips.

Durable Internal Mechanism

Internally, the Sanibest Pro is equipped with a pressure chamber for operation control and a sealed motor that powers both the stainless steel cutting blade and the impeller. Upon flushing, incoming water activates a micro switch in the pressure chamber, which starts the motor. The motor is permanently sealed within an oil-filled enclosure for longevity.

A unified spindle powers both the impeller and grinder blades, minimizing the number of moving components. The blades spin at 3600 RPM, turning organic waste and water into slurry. The reduced material is collected at the base and discharged by the impeller mounted beneath the motor. The system can pump waste up to 25 feet vertically and 150 feet horizontally (gravity-assisted).

After the water level drops, the micro switch deactivates the unit. A standard operation cycle lasts approximately 10–12 seconds, depending on the layout of the discharge piping.

Multi-Fixture Compatibility

In addition to handling toilet waste, the Sanibest Pro also processes gray water from a sink, bath/shower, urinal, or indirectly from a washing machine. For shower or tub installations, a raised platform built with 2” x 8” framing on edge is required. This setup allows for a p-trap and ensures a gravity flow of 1/4” per foot toward the unit.

Two 2-inch side inlets on the housing accept additional fixture connections. The discharge elbow located at the top can rotate a full 360° to accommodate various installation layouts. A built-in non-return valve prevents backflow into the system.

Ventilation and Electrical Safety

A vent connection is included on the lid and must be tied into a compliant two-way air vent per plumbing code. Mechanical vents and air admittance valves are not permitted. For added safety, it is strongly recommended that the unit be wired to a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuit.

Maintenance and Accessibility

The Sanibest Pro is designed for easy servicing without the need to disconnect from the toilet or plumbing. A built-in service panel offers direct access to both the electrical controls and the level-sensing mechanism.

The system must be connected to a Saniflo rear-discharge toilet, which consumes significantly less water than traditional models.

System Components and Compliance

The Sanibest Pro complies with North American standards:

United States: CSA Certified & IAPMO (UPC) listed – ASME A112.3.4

Canada: CSA B45.9 Macerating Standard

Components are sold individually, but the full system requires a toilet bowl (Model 083 or 087), toilet tank (Model 005), and grinder unit (Model 013). An optional extension pipe (Model 030) is available for behind-the-wall installations.

Note: For commercial settings, plumbing codes mandate the use of an ADA-compliant elongated bowl (Model 087) with this unit.
