Sanicubic 1 – Heavy-Duty Simplex Grinder Pump System
The Sanicubic 1 is a robust 1 HP simplex grinder system engineered to pump wastewater from multiple bathrooms and fixtures throughout a residential or commercial building. With the ability to discharge up to 36 feet vertically and 328 feet horizontally, it is an ideal solution for demanding installations in environments such as rental properties, office buildings, and warehouses.
Powerful and Compact Grinder Design
This system features a high-performance 1 HP motor housed in a rugged, space-efficient enclosure. The unit includes a stainless steel grinding blade capable of macerating large solids such as sanitary napkins, condoms, dental floss, q-tips, and other commonly flushed debris.
The motor is sealed for life in an oil-filled enclosure, driving both the impeller and grinder blade via a shared shaft. This design minimizes mechanical wear and ensures consistent, reliable operation.
Multiple Inlet Configuration and Installation Ease
The Sanicubic 1 includes four inlets—two on top and one on each side at the bottom—compatible with 1½” or 4” piping. The unit’s simplicity extends to installation: it’s designed for direct “plug and play” retrofits into standard 24” sewage ejector basins without the need for floats or chains.
Maximum discharge is achieved through a 1½” rigid outlet pipe located at the top of the unit. Note: a ¼” per foot slope is required for incoming drain lines, and a 10-inch elevation drop is necessary if connecting via a bottom inlet.
Automatic Operation and Alarm Features
The unit is equipped with dual pressure switches and a control board to manage start and stop cycles automatically. It can handle flows up to 50 GPM. If inflow exceeds the pump’s capacity, the system triggers an “alarm” mode, activating both:
A visual LED indicator on the external control panel
An audible alarm (wired to a 15-foot cable control box)
Ventilation and Backflow Protection
The 1½” vent port on top must be connected to a two-way air vent as required by plumbing code. Mechanical vents or one-way air admittance valves are not permitted. All discharge lines include check valves to prevent backflow, and isolation valves (ball or gate) should be installed on both inlets and outlets for safe service access.

Rated IP68, the Sanicubic 1 is protected against full submersion, helping to safeguard its internal electronics. The system is certified for both U.S. and Canadian standards:
