Sanicubic 1 VX – Heavy-Duty Simplex Vortex Pump System
The Sanicubic 1 VX is a high-performance 1.5 HP simplex Vortex pumping system engineered to handle wastewater from multiple bathrooms and fixtures across an entire building. Designed for residential and commercial applications—such as rental units, offices, or warehouses—it can pump solids-laden wastewater up to 36 feet vertically or as far as 1640 feet horizontally through a 4” pipe.
Powerful Motor & Vortex Impeller
Housed within a compact, impact-resistant plastic enclosure, the Sanicubic 1 VX features a 1.5 HP motor that drives a Vortex-style impeller capable of processing solids up to 2 inches in diameter. This includes common sanitary products such as sanitary napkins, dental floss, q-tips, and more.
The motor is sealed for life in an oil-filled enclosure for long-term durability. It operates via a pressure switch system and circuit board that start and stop the unit based on the water level. A shared shaft drives the impeller, minimizing wear and maximizing reliability.
Flexible Inlet & Discharge Configuration
The system offers three inlet ports (1½" or 4")—one on each side at the bottom and one on the top—accommodating multiple fixture types. Wastewater is discharged through either a 2” or 4” pipe at the top of the unit. Maximum discharge capabilities include:

Smart Alarm and System Monitoring
Capable of pumping up to 125 GPM (2") or 137 GPM (4"), the Sanicubic 1 VX includes smart controls to manage high-flow conditions. If inflow exceeds discharge rate, the unit automatically enters “alarm” mode, triggering:
A visual LED alert on the external control panel
An audible alarm from the wired control box (if connected)
Installation Considerations
For optimal operation, ensure:
A minimum ¼” per foot gravity slope on all incoming drain pipes
A minimum 11” height difference between the bottom inlet and the connected fixture
Isolation valves on all inlets and discharge lines for safe servicing
A check valve is built into the internal discharge line to prevent backflow.
Ventilation & Safety
The unit includes a 2½” vent connection and must be connected to a compliant two-way air vent system. Mechanical or one-way air admittance valves are not allowed. For electrical safety, the system should be connected to a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) circuit.
