Saniflo Sewage and Commercial Pumps

Saniflo sewage and commercial pump systems are powerful, high-capacity solutions designed to handle demanding wastewater applications in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. Whether you're managing black water from toilets or gray water from sinks and appliances, Saniflo products like the Sanipit, and Sanicubic provide reliable performance where gravity drainage isn't an option.

How Saniflo Sewage and Commercial Pumps Work

Saniflo sewage and lift stations, such as the Sanicubic and Sanipit, are designed to collect and pump both gray and black water. These units use heavy-duty motors and impellers to lift wastewater from fixtures to the main sewer line or septic tank — even when it requires vertical or long-distance pumping.

Installation Requirements

Grounded electrical connection (120V or 220V depending on model)

PVC or HDPE discharge piping sized per unit specifications

Vent connection if required (especially for sealed sewage systems)

Units like the Sanicubic are floor-mounted and come pre-assembled for easy drop-in installation. The Sanipit fits below-ground in a sump-style (sewage ejector) setup. All models include integrated check valves and alarms and control panels where applicable.

Best Practices for Optimal Performance

Maintenance

Periodically inspect and clean the unit per the maintenance guide.

Noise Reduction

Install vibration-dampening pads under floor-mounted units.

Ensure the pump housing doesn't contact walls or framing directly.

Use insulated pipe supports to reduce vibration transfer through discharge lines.

Discharge Line Optimization

Use as few bends as possible in the discharge line.

Favor two 45° elbows over one 90° to reduce friction loss.

Ensure the discharge line is properly vented and pitched to allow free flow.

Dedicated Discharge Line

Do not connect unrelated appliances to the pump’s discharge line. Each system should have a dedicated path to the main sewer or septic connection to ensure proper flow and prevent backflow.

Compatible Applications

Saniflo sewage and commercial pumps support a wide range of use cases, including:

Toilets and bathrooms below sewer level

Basement sewage removal

Commercial kitchens

Laundry rooms and utility sinks

Hospitals, clinics, and laboratories

Retail spaces and office buildings

Garages, workshops, and outdoor buildings

Sewage ejection - underground installations (Sanipit)

Multiple-fixture residential solutions (Sanicubic)
