Sanicom 2 – Heavy-Duty High-Temperature Duplex Drain Pump
The Sanicom 2 is a commercial-grade, high-performance duplex drain pump designed to handle gray water from multiple fixtures in both residential and commercial settings. Engineered for tough environments, the unit can discharge up to 32 feet vertically or 390 feet horizontally using a 1.5" pipe, and supports fluid temperatures up to 194°F (90°C).
Powerful Dual Motor System
The Sanicom 2 is powered by two independent 2 HP motors, each enclosed in an oil-filled, sealed housing to ensure durability and consistent performance. Each motor is fitted with its own built-in check valve on the discharge, keeping maintenance low and preventing backflow.
Smart-Pump Technology
The integrated smart-pump system enables both motors to operate simultaneously when incoming flow exceeds the capacity of a single motor. Capable of handling up to 140 gallons per minute (GPM), the Sanicom 2 easily accommodates the demands of multiple fixtures operating at once.
Engineered for High Temperatures and Acids
With a maximum fluid temperature of 194°F, the Sanicom 2 is ideal for applications such as commercial kitchens and dishwashers requiring high-heat water for sanitation. The HDPE (high-density polyethylene) enclosure and internal components are specially formulated to resist acidic waste and other harsh substances.
Efficient and Reliable Operation
The system activates when water enters and triggers the internal pressure switch. Water is then rapidly discharged, with a typical cycle lasting 4–6 seconds depending on pipe configuration. The unit’s efficiency keeps power consumption to a minimum while maximizing output.
Service-Friendly Design
The Sanicom 2 is built for ease of service. Motors, pressure-level switches, circuit boards, and dip tubes are easily accessible for maintenance. A three-switch internal dip-tube system provides fail-proof water level sensing to ensure optimal reliability.
Flexible Installation & Compliance
With two 2" side inlets placed closer to the floor, the Sanicom 2 makes for quick installation in floor-level fixture setups. It also includes a vent connection at the top of the unit, which must be connected to a two-way vent system to meet plumbing codes (mechanical or air admittance vents are not permitted).
System Control and Monitoring
The Sanicom 2 includes a wired external control panel with override buttons and LED indicators for power and alarm status. An external alarm box is available as an optional accessory. It is also recommended to connect the pump system to a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) circuit.
